Jun 6, 2022 · What's the difference between answering simple yes and Yes I do/Yes I am/Yes I can etc? Hi I am trying to understand this becuse in my mother tongue we always say just yes or no and my. It is rude, not sarcastic, if someone asks a "yes or no" question to two completely different questions and only one answer comes out as a reply. A lot ruder still if asked a qualitative question and answered. I'm a pretty big fan of Yes, but have never seen them live. Turns out they're on tour and playing nearby and i'm considering going. Is it worth it to see a show or is it a disappointing shell of the band playing.
